OUR HISTORY
The Champlain Dog Club was established April 1,1986 and was sanctioned by the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) in January 1987; enabling the Club to hold official events under CKC rules.
WHO ARE WE
The Champlain Dog Club is comprised of dog owners with varying levels of expertise. From the beginner to the experienced breeder and competitor we are all here to learn, share experiences and to enjoy the companionship of those who appreciate having dogs in their lives. Although
many of us are involved in showing dogs, having a purebred is not a prerequisite for membership. Many of our members have given shelter dogs or rescue dogs good homes, as well. We try to offer something for everyone. Members receive monthly newsletters to keep them informed of club activities.
LOCATION
The
Champlain Dog Club is based in Petawawa, Ontario, Canada. We have
members coming from throughout the Valley from Deep River to Renfrew.
